My oldest really likes pirates; I think he'd be happy if we had Talk Like a Pirate Day every week. He even talked me into sewing him a linen shirt with ruffles, so he could dress the part. *g*

Although, when he applied for a position at a local chain of game stores and he came to the question, Pirate, or Ninja, his answer was something along the lines of "Space Pirate Ninja, avast and aloft, matey." (I'm paraphrasing, as I don't remember exactly what he told me, but yes, that was an actual question on the form.)
