A Few Pictures of My Dad

When I visited my dad at Thanksgiving, there was a new kitten in the house. The kitten's name is Vinton.

Although Vinton is only six weeks old in this picture, he's already learned to crawl up my dad and perch on his shoulder when my dad pats his leg, and then his shoulder.

Vinton has fallen asleep in my dad's hands. My dad seemed quite charmed by the little fellow, although having raised several kittens, I can vouch for the fact that this is one devil of a kitten. Adorable as all get out, and an absolute terror.

Dad often falls asleep sitting in his chair, even in the middle of a conversation. Vinton looks quite possessive, here, doesn't he?

Kittens are supposed to be terrors. It's in their job description.

He looks like one sweet cat, though.

Yes. But, this one makes the one my boys call The Devil Kitten (even though she's now three and has outgrown the worst of her wildness) look positively mild by comparison. :)

She'll keep your dad too busy to get in trouble of his own, then. This should be a good thing [g].

I love that top picture. They both look ready for mischief. :)

LOL. I think you've got them both pegged. :-D
