pameladlloyd: Alya, an original character by Ian L. Powell (Default)

In the comments of a prior post, I've been having a discussion with [livejournal.com profile] asakiyume about my trip to the United Kingdom twenty-five years ago. This has resulted in my decision to post a few photos from the trip. To avoid taking up space on folks' Friends pages, I've hidden the photos under a cut.

The two pictures here were taken during February in Cambridge, England and show me with my oldest son, then an infant of about six months. The photos were probably taken by my ex-husband, who is now deceased. Enjoy.

I am standing in front of a card shop, with my first son, Ian, carried in a Snugli. Can you read the sign behind me? *g*

Here's a close-up taken at the same time. As I'm sure you can guess, I love this picture.

Oh that last one is just so, so sweet--his happy, happy face as he laughs! Just lovely.

here's a link to a photo I scanned, of my husband carrying our older daughter on his shoulders on a trip to Oxford. This wasn't when we lived there; this was during a visit there, oh... 16 years ago! Maybe 15...

What fun. Is that one of the colleges in the background?

Here's a link to one of my son chewing his dad's hair (http://pics.livejournal.com/pdlloyd/pic/00028fr3/g84). Have we hit upon some universal theme here? ;>

Yes it is, but I can't remember which one. It might be New College.
