Mini-Update

Do you ever find yourself unable to talk about anything, because you can't talk about the one thing you most want to talk about? Well, that's where I'm at, right now. I have news I want to share, but I don't feel comfortable sharing until it's absolutely official. Signed, sealed, and delivered, as the song goes. But, the pressure of keeping quiet about that one thing has kept me from feeling like I had anything else to share.

So, what's been going on in my life that I can share? Not terribly much. However, I'm lucky enough to be married to a creative person. My husband has put together a couple of new prototypes for poulaines. So far, he's created two new shoes, both for the left foot. He's pretty happy with the last one, so I think he'll probably go on to make a right to form a matching pair. He's also started working on medieval-style hats. He's created his first prototype hat, and it's a lot of fun.

I'd been holding up on posting more about his recent creative efforts, too, hoping to be able to post pictures. Unfortunately, I'm having camera issues*, so I don't have any pictures to share at the moment.


* 1) The camera on my cell is pretty useless: low quality pics and I lost the download cable, so once I've got a picture, the only way to get it into my computer is to send it to someone else, and then have them download it and email it back to me. :P
2) My son's camera is great, but he wanted it back, so I didn't get to keep it indefinitely. :(
