Space Pirates Now Available in Online Bookstores (Shameless Self-Promotion)

The story "Ship's Daughter" by Pamela D. Lloyd and Karl Grotegut is just one of the fifteen stories to be found in Space Pirates, edited by David Lee Summers.



The anthology is now available on Amazon (Space Pirates) and Barnes&Noble: (Space Pirates).

This was my first collaboration on a story with my husband and we were very pleased to have the story selected for the anthology.

Thanks. I guess I'm not so good at the shameless self-promotion thing yet, although I'm working on it.

This is my second published story. The first, "In a Tower High," was published in Realms of Fantasy magazine back in April 2004. I've been a bit slow about getting things out, but recently my story output has been up, so I have hopes this will turn around soon.

I just finished updating my bio page, too, to make the publication of Space Pirates more prominent.

Are you sure yu're not Australian-in-disguise? Most of us find it *so* difficult to say "Look what I've done" and there's always a posse somewhere watching out to cut those who do down to size.

The first few publications are the special ones, though, and really deserve the celebration.

I sure wish my budget would let me get down to Conflux. Maybe by the time you guys host WorldCon (I think you've got a bid for 2010?) I'll have my financial act together and will be able to make it down. Or, should I have said Down Under?

Sown South (very far south). Melbourne is in Mexico, BTW. That's what Sydneysiders often say. It's South of the Border, you see. Canberra is hundreds of miles away, but I am going to get to worldcon, somehow, even if I have to rearrange my work year around it.
