Locus Editor Needs Help

(via ellen_datlow) One of the managing editors at Locus, Amelia Beamer, and her husband, have just lost her father-in-law, Arthur Jokela, to a heart attack. Jokela was traveling from Africa to Los Angeles when he died in London, in connection with work he did in Malawi and Mozambique for programs intended to help mitigate poverty. He had no life insurance and his travelor's insurance has not covered the costs of his cremation.
