Via [livejournal.com profile] heleninwales, They Fight Crime, which uses the words of [livejournal.com profile] anw to bring you pairs of unlikely crime-fighting duos. You get a new pair every time you refresh the page (or click the "Try Again" link). Here's a sample of the duos generated on my visit:

He's a leather-clad voodoo assassin who hangs with the wrong crowd. She's a foxy foul-mouthed museum curator with only herself to blame. They fight crime!

He's a benighted one-eyed librarian searching for his wife's true killer. She's an elegant green-skinned stripper living on borrowed time. They fight crime!

He's a scarfaced arachnophobic astronaut in a wheelchair. She's a violent out-of-work college professor on her way to prison for a murder she didn't commit. They fight crime!

He's a time-tossed soccer-playing paranormal investigator with no name. She's an orphaned bisexual traffic cop operating on the wrong side of the law. They fight crime!

Funny.

Here are my first two tries:

He's a fast talking Catholic rock star on the run. She's a radical punk advertising executive with a flame-thrower. They fight crime!

He's an uncontrollable drug-addicted gentleman spy from a doomed world. She's a ditzy extravagent opera singer with the power to see death. They fight crime!

I'll have to pass this on to some friends I know. . . lol.

Those are awesome. I loved the orphaned bisexual cop :D And a punk advertising executive with a flame thrower's not half bad either (looking at your comments thread)

Here's a fun one:

"He's a superhumanly strong arachnophobic card sharp gone bad. She's a green-fingered psychic queen of the dead trying to make a difference in a man's world. They fight crime!"
