A Christmas Eve Surprize

Today Karl and I received our first royalty check from Space Pirates. Yippee! It may not be a big check, but it's the first royalty check that either of us has ever received, so it's very special. And, how cool is it, to get something like that on Christmas Eve?

i'd be tempted to buy something pleasant to eat or drink--but maybe you should get something pirate themed!

Understand, we're not talking big bucks here, but I've already spent it on Christmas. Strange as that may sound for this household of agnostics and Buddhists. :)

I remember you initially branching into writing about what 1990 or so so this is indeed great news ! Anyways, fully deserved !

Hi Sunil! Glad to have you drop by. *waves vigorously*

I actually started writing long before that, but I think that it was in the 1990s that I started sending out story submissions. Sending things out has been a bit, er, sporadic. As a result, I've only got two stories published at the moment.

Although, there are others languishing in slush piles. :/

Plus, I've got three I wrote this summer, that are, uhm, percolating. And I've started but not finished a few more.

Longer works, I kept getting stuck on. Including the one I kept threatening promising that you would appear as a character.
